SSQ Financial Group Donates to the Association de parents de l’enfance en difficulté
SSQ Financial Group proudly donated $7,000, an amount raised at the 2017 Marathon SSQ de Longueuil, to the Association de parents de l’enfance en difficulté (APED).

Jointly organized with the City of Longueuil, this fundraising activity will help the APED continue its mission of supporting and bringing together the parents of disabled or troubled children and teenagers. The success of the fundraising relies on the precious collaboration of partners, service providers and companies in the region, whose generosity is to be commended.
In addition to sponsoring the Marathon SSQ de Longueuil since its first year in 2016, SSQ wanted to broaden its commitment toward the community by supporting a worthwhile cause as well as healthy lifestyle choices. "The Marathon SSQ de Longueuil is not just an opportunity for us to encourage people to be more active but to mutually help and contribute to the well-being of the community," said Jean-François Chalifoux, CEO of SSQ Financial Group.
SSQ employees were also motivated by the cause and got involved with the organization. In addition to gathering arts-and-crafts supplies, some of them volunteering at the APED's summer camp.
