​SSQ Financial Group offers heartfelt condolences to the family of the runner who died on Sunday

SSQ Financial Group was deeply saddened to learn that Maxime Pouliot Rochefort died yesterday after running the half marathon at the 2017 SSQ Quebec City Marathon.

The 30-year-old runner from Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures required medical attention two kilometres from the finish line. After being attended to by the medical staff on site, Mr. Pouliot Rochefort was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead a few hours later.
