SSQ Insurance’s digital services at the centre of its business strategy

SSQ Insurance is proud to simplify the life of its community by offering efficient digital services to customers. From its new Customer Centre for general insurance to the mobile application for group insurance, SSQ Insurance is focusing on the accessibility of its digital tools, while proactively reducing the use of paper.

Customer Centre for general insurance

Accessible 24/7 online or via the mobile version, the Customer Centre for auto and home insurance offers a clear and concise digital version of the insurance contract. With its simple and secure interface, users can obtain all information on their insurance coverage. They are able to:

  • Find their renewal date and the deductible amount in the event of a claim
  • Obtain the status of their claim
  • Consult their documents as well as their claim history
  • With the paperless option, receive an email as soon as a new digital document becomes available

“Our objective is to be available to our customers wherever they are and provide them with information that will make their experience with SSQ Insurance an enjoyable one. Our digital services offer is a cornerstone of our strategic plan, and is constantly being improved by our teams,” said Éric Trudel, Senior Vice-President of Strategy and Product Management at SSQ Insurance.

Work is underway to complete the integration of group insurance, individual life and health insurance and investment products into the Customer Centre. Ultimately, the entire product portfolio will be available on this platform.

Group insurance mobile application

SSQ Insurance’s mobile group insurance application is outstanding for its accessibility and its efficiency. In just a few simple steps, claims for medical and dental expenses can be submitted via the application using a tablet or smartphone. The majority of claims may be reimbursed by direct deposit in less than 48 hours and payments received may be consulted. Customers may also use the application to access their digital insurance card and present it when they receive services.
