SSQ Insurance looking out for the mental health of its customers in the pandemic

SSQ Insurance understands that its customers may have concerns about the COVID-19 coronavirus and is offering free access to a telephone counselling service to its entire clientele to help them cope through this difficult period.

“We are all affected, each of us in our own way, by the pandemic. That can mean anxiety, feeling discouraged or having to deal with acute stress. In an effort to help our members and customers cope through these difficult times, we are offering them a support service. Our psychological health partner will be available to listen to and accompany them. Offering psychological assistance to our members and customers is part of our community effort, it is how communities make us,” said SSQ Insurance CEO Jean-François Chalifoux.

This crisis intervention assistance service is offered on a temporary basis. The measure is delivered by Optima Global Health’s specialists, professionals specialized in psychological health with the necessary evaluation and intervention training. Regardless of the type of product held, whether it is group insurance, individual insurance, auto insurance, home insurance or investment products, all SSQ Insurance members and customers will be entitled to this assistance.
