What does co-owner insurance include?

A co-owner insurance is divided into three parts: property, revenue, and civil liability.

Your property

  • The building you co-own, including indoor or outdoor pool, lobby furniture, etc.
  • Outbuildings located on the insured premises, such as a garden shed, detached garage, etc.

Your civil liability

Multi-peril insurance covers civil liability, which means you are not financially responsible for bodily injury or material damage that is involuntarily caused to a third party.Multi-peril insurance also includes an option to cover liability of condominium administrators.As part of this protection, SSQ Insurance covers the legal fees you may incur in a civil liability case.
