Delays with the processing of mail and cheque payments

The circumstances surrounding COVID-19 are causing delays in the processing of paper documents.

In an effort to avoid further delay, we ask that you use online services whenever you can.

To avoid delays in the processing and payment of your claims, we recommend you use the Customer Centre, accessible via our website and mobile app.

We have designed these guides for those of you who aren’t familiar with your Customer Centre.

Important! If you are currently travelling outside Canada, you must have taken the necessary measures to return before March 27, 2020. Refer to your contract as certain exceptions may apply.

If you were unable to return before March 27, 2020 (due to border closures or unavailability of flights for example), you will continue to be covered until you are able to return. Keep all supporting documents proving that you were unable to return in time.
